Sonship Is By Grace, Not By Works
The abundant grace of God and your position in Christ as the righteousness of God has qualified you for your inheritance (Romans 5:17). Seeking to do to receive what grace has already done puts you back under the law thereby frustrating the grace of God in your life. May that never be your portion in Jesus name.
Galatians 2:21 – [Therefore, I do not treat God’s gracious gift as something of minor importance and defeat its very purpose]; I do not set aside and invalidate and frustrate and nullify the grace (unmerited favor) of God. For if justification (righteousness, acquittal from guilt) comes through [observing the ritual of] the Law, then Christ (the Messiah) died groundlessly and to no purpose and in vain. [His death was then wholly superfluous.]
You will not frustrate the grace of God in your life rather you will grow in grace (2 Peter 3:18). I will show you how in this book. As you grow in His grace and release your faith to appropriate what grace has already provided, you see more of the blessing of God manifest in your life.
The plan of God for His sons is a glorious one. You must read on to better understand that plan and see how you can take your exalted place if you have not already done so. As you take your place you have a responsibility to teach others to do the same.
Ephesians 4:13 (KJV) – Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
We must come to the standard of the Christ, the first Begotten of our Father. This is a standard that has stood the test of the enemy and time and prevailed. This is the standard where everything responds to us. At that standard, our reign is indisputable! Take your place now and begin to reign.
Your enemy, the Devil, is disputing your qualification as a son and he is out to prove that you are not qualified. That is why he brings condemnation in your life based on your past. But God has qualified you in Christ Jesus. There is no longer condemnation for you as long as you are in Christ (Romans 8:1). So, just give Him thanks.
Colossians 1:12 – 12 Giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified and made us fit to share the portion which is the inheritance of the saints (God’s holy people) in the Light.
We are qualified, as the sons of God, to partake in the inheritance of the saints despite what the enemy thinks. God never designed angels to be His sons. They are messengers sent to minister for the sons of God. In fact, we are to judge the fallen angels in the end.
I ask that you have an open mind and heart as you read on. God will speak to your spirit. You must also be ready to search the scriptures yourself to investigate some issues that may be different from what you have been taught. As I grow in Christianity I have had to unlearn some things and even outrightly reject some others by the leading of the Holy Spirit. If Martin Luther was not ready to study and research the scriptures for himself we would probably not have come into the revelation at the time he did that the just was supposed to live by faith. It also follows that he would have accepted the status quo and remained in the Roman Catholic Church and the Lutheran church would not have been born. The revelation he brought forth that justification was not by works but by faith has changed the history of the church forever. So, read on but be ready for fresh revelation that will bring you total freedom empowering you afresh for exploits as a son of God.
Ephesians 1:17 – [For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him,)
I pray for you the same prayer that Apostle Paul prayed for the Ephesians: that God will grant you divine insight into the mysteries and secrets of the kingdom of God. This will bring you into a deep and intimate knowledge of God and cause you to have freedom, peace, and rest in Christ (Matthew 11:28).
Your sonship is based on a covenant of promise that God made with Himself and sealed with an oath (Hebrew 6:13). He is not about to change His mind. All that you need to reign has been provided through the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The world is waiting for you to manifest as a mature and perfected son of God. What are you going to do about it?
