Take Your Place As A Son Of God
It is very clear from the Word of God that as many as have received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour have become the sons of God (John 1:12). Unfortunately, many born again, sons of God are living like beggars and slaves because of ignorance (Hosea 4:6). Any inheritances that belong to you, that you are ignorant of, will never be of any benefit to you.
Many sons of God are wallowing in poverty, sicknesses, diseases, fear, failure, hopelessness while the children of this world are enjoying their lives on the earth. This is surely not the plan of God! The promises of God are yes and amen. His Word works for those who are ready and willing to apply it in their lives. It works!
I have a burning desire to see the sons of God take their rightful places in the Kingdom of God. God paid a great price to secure their position in Christ Jesus. I long to see Christians live above the afflictions of the enemy. Yes, as long as you are in this world there will be challenges. They are not designed to subdue you. No, God’s plan for His sons is that they will have dominion over their circumstances and situations (Gen. 1:26-28). He has put His Spirit in His sons to make them greater than everything that is in the world (1 John 4:4). He has made them more than conquerors in all circumstances.
The truth is that God will never force you to take your position. He has given His sons the power of choice. “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:” –Deuteronomy 30:19 (KJV). God, in His gentle character, allows His sons to choose what they want. He states His will for them and then allows them to choose what they want. Every choice we make has consequences. Choosing the will of God brings His purposes to be accomplished in our lives but choosing our own will brings different consequences, which most times are undesirable.
When those that have positions of sons reserved for them neglect the will of God for them, they demonstrate that they are not mature sons but that they are children. “Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:” – Galatians 4:1-3 (KJV). The inheritance is for sons! However, if they live like children, by their choices, they will find themselves in bondage. They will live like servants though they ought to be lords of all. Others will lord it over them as tutors and governors until a future date. They elements of the world, circumstances and situations will become their lords.
Hello sons of God! This article is to remind you of who you are in Christ Jesus. I challenge every born again child of God to take his proper place of dominion on the earth and reign over their situations and circumstances. May God provoke you to discover who you are in Him. May he empower you afresh to take your place and reign as the light of the world and the salt of the earth. You have glorious inheritances in Christ Jesus as a son of God. You will not miss any of it in Jesus name. Amen.
